Around this time, one of the most common things you’ll hear is, “new year, new me.” People tend to say this in regards to a variety of things ranging from their attitudes to their spending habits to their work ethic. One of the main things we should focus on as this year ends and the new one begins is our health.

Health and fitness play a pivotal role in not only your physical wellbeing, but your mental wellbeing as well. It affects how you see your reflection, and I mean that both figuratively and literally.

In an age of waist trainers, “Bootea” tea for weight loss, and Dr. Miami (whom you should really checkout on Snapchat), the old fashion ways of staying fit seem to have become almost obsolete.

Here are some easy ways to step, or jog, into the new year healthily.
