Pocket Change Budget, High Fashion Tastes

Keep your closet stacked and bills paid.

Like Kanye West once said, “wait till I get my money right.” Who doesn’t want to rock the latest, compete with the fashionable Insta-famous, but alas champagne tastes and Old English budgets trump those dreams.

In the days of Ye’s and Kim K’s, our society’s expectation is to already see the glo up – the hustle working towards it is cool too. Our dominant virtual culture allows people to see the ins and outs of your daily life and everyone is pushed to flex. Your favorite celebrities reveal all details about what they’re wearing and where they got it from.  We want what’s lit, what’s attention grabbing, and what helps us express ourselves.

I find no shame in letting people know that I don’t got it, because that’s just the honest truth. What I also can’t help is my creatively expressive nature and versatility. I like to explore different looks and trends. You can imagine how difficult it may be to bring all of your dream aesthetics to life on a college student budget. I am finishing out my college years and still find difficulty in balancing priority with pleasure. You want that bag but your phone bill is close to due. These looks and trends are achievable if you have the right places to look.

From one stylish but prioritizing young woman to many others, here’s a list of sites in which you can find affordable clothing, shoes, and accessories.
