HERstory: Nadia Lopez

To be unfamiliar with Nadia Lopez is simply comical. This educator is fierce in the classroom and out; continuously  fighting for her students.

Nadia’s rise to viral fame started with one of her Mott Hall Bridges Academy students being captured by popular photostory Instagram page, Humans of New York. Since the photo campaign, Nadia remains relentless in her journey to better the future of every student that attends her Brownsville, New York institution.

#OccupySchools with Nadia and learn more about her journey in the second episode of #HERstory above.
