Janet Puts ’Unbreakable’ Tour On Pause To Start Her Family

Fans react: "Lol….wyd?"

Janet Jackson has stirred up a series of opinions for her choice to cancel upcoming tour dates in attempts to start a family with husband Wissan Al Mana.

The 49-year-old sensation posted a video via Instagram announcing her decision yesterday (April 6) and has been getting hot potato’d since.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now, I have to rest up, doctor’s orders! But I have not forgotten about you.”

Tour dates have already been postponed prior to the video just this past October due to health reasons, leaving some no other choice but to express their confusion and aggression to her latest updates. Many have already purchased their tickets according to scheduled dates in advance and aren’t sure where it leaves them now.

“A family though, Janet?” is the general consensus of confused fans across social media side-eyeing her new reason ,for further postponing dates – those with and without tickets.

Her age is a key factor in the reception of the news, many wondering why she wants to start a family at age 49. Others aware of the fact that she has no children, question why she’d plan a hold tour to only impulsively opt out. Disgruntled fans are feeling a more Scandal-esque conspiracy theory, considering that perhaps Janet is feeling out of touch with music and her ability to pack a full Madison Square Garden.

If a woman believes she can assume the role of mother in all ways and is physically capable of doing so, she should go for it by all means; whether her age is a shocker or not. After leaving the culture with a series of staples, Ms. Jackson if your nasty is more than entitled to pursuing motherhood. However, her choice to do so after ticket sales and excitement has been stirred is something anyone can see fans being confused by.

Ultimately she’s peaked success – perhaps another layer to her newfound purpose – has no full obligation to her fans and should go for it if the biological clock allows. What’s most important is that she has the support and stable health to bring her own familial dreams to life. All in all we’re wishing you the best Janet, do what you must!
