HBO Gifts The BeyHive A Free Pass

HBO’s announcement to let users experience their subscription service for free 99 is an obvious chess move guided by the all-power Beyoncé.

It comes as no surprise that the same weekend Bey will premiere the hour-long Lemonade special that HBO is offering its services for free; though, many subscription services provide these types of offers every other full moon.

The powerhouse that is the Beyoncé brand is coveted by many and rarely does Mrs. Carter appeal to other businesses attempting to sip her lemonade. When the match is right, it’s right and we’ve become accustomed to the superstar adhering to her own rules, cruising in her own lane. It is with this type of brand power that she can sway a few executives – assuming that she did – to make their services accessible to all in the BeyHive who may not subscribe to the service, or have a friend that does.

Set your DVR, grab your squad, and plan your Saturday night in as you await whatever it is this Lemonade Beyoncé has prepared for us to premiere at 9p.m. EST and run all weekend-long.
